A sprawling display of an audio recording of an Italian Speedway races its way around the floor of the project space. The sound of rushing cars rings through the space and outside into the neighborhood where it is left to compete with the actual roar of nearby Highway 101.

Gian-Martin Joller received his MFA in sculpture from CalArts and teaches at Santa Monica City College. His work has been exhibited across Southern California.
